BBJ Recap – Champions Rise From the Fire
The night wasn’t easy for BBJ. Timeless came out swinging, using hot shooting and aggressive defense to build a 15-10 lead after the first quarter and stretch it to a 13-point advantage in the second. But even with their backs against the wall, BBJ never panicked.
Hezi God was spectacular, scoring 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting while adding 3 assists and 2 rebounds, keeping BBJ in striking distance when the game threatened to get away. Zach Hinton — “The Artillery” — was unstoppable inside, finishing a flawless 8-for-8 from the field for 17 points and 9 rebounds. His energy and dominance on the glass gave BBJ the interior edge they needed.
The third quarter was the turning point. BBJ erased Timeless’ lead with an emphatic run led by Hezi God and Hinton, tying the game 39-all heading into the fourth. Down the stretch, Darae Elliot added 9 points (4-5 FG), including a clutch three that flipped momentum for good.
And in the Elam Ending, with the championship literally hanging on the final possession, it was The Artillery, Zach Hinton, who delivered the dagger — a game-winning tip-in that sealed BBJ’s crown.
For Hezi God, this championship wasn’t just about the game — it was history. The Finals MVP performance cemented his legacy with a 4th VBL Championship, proving once again why he is one of the league’s all-time greats.

Timeless Recap – Fighting Until the End
Timeless came in ready to reclaim their spot on top of the VBL, and for much of the first half, they looked the part. Elvin Rodriguez was electric, scoring 21 points with 5 steals and 2 assists, drilling four three-pointers and setting the tone. Mar Harris added 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting, while Baby Jordan chipped in 11 points with highlight finishes that had the crowd buzzing.
But in a game where they needed their stars to shine brightest, Juice struggled to find rhythm, finishing with just 8 points and 4 assists on 3-of-12 shooting (25% FG). Despite his effort and leadership, it wasn’t enough to counter BBJ’s furious second-half comeback.
Even so, Timeless showed the heart of true contenders. Their defensive pressure, balanced scoring, and refusal to back down kept them in the fight until the final tip.

But make no mistake: this rivalry is far from over. Timeless isn’t going anywhere, and with Juice looking to bounce back and Elvin Rodriguez proving he’s one of the deadliest scorers in Venice, the next chapter of BBJ vs. Timeless is already writing itself.
This wasn’t just a championship game. It was the start of a new VBL era, one defined by the battle between Hezi God and Juice, and the teams that refuse to let each other breathe.
