Starting June 2nd until September 7th, The VeniceBall offers a very unique event, on the legendary courts of Venice Beach, California:
Mornings (9am-12.30pm) are dedicated to the KIDS with the Natural Leaders Camp:
At no cost to the children or their families, KVBL kids are exposed to the following: Yoga, surfing, basketball lessons with some of the Leagues premiere players and other celebrities. Organic breakfasts and lunches prepared on site by gourmet chefs demonstrating the kids the simplicity of eating healthy. The goal of the KVBL is to provide experiences for children that empower them to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, gain confidence in themselves and each other, and truly become the Natural Leaders of their own communities. After ten weeks, children will return to their communities with the drive to share their knowledge with friends and family members, helping to stimulate the way the next generation will think about the planet.

The Venice Basketball League (VBL) consists of 12 of the best invite only basketball teams from around Southern California
VBL hoops combined with the sounds of the best DJ’s bring a combination of entertainment-style play and most physical action.
We follow a structured team agenda and evolved from its humble beginnings in 2007 into a “reputable roster compiled with the highest of standards in ethics and talent.”
Building upon its tradition of unity and taking advantage of the family atmosphere of Venice Beach, the VBL founded: The Kids Venice Basketball League (KVBL) in 2007. This is a non-profit, 501©3 collaborative committed to empowering the under-privileged children of Los Angeles.
It is essential we provide a healthy lifestyle and fundamental basketball skills for our kids. Being a part of the “Natural Leaders Camp for Kids,” children from various parts of Los Angeles are bussed to the Venice courts for training.
This June 2012 Jordan brand invited our all star selection to participate in Quai 54 international tournament in Paris France. VBL went to
the semi fnals out of 32 teams worldwide. VBL ranges from Professional D-Leaguers and NBA draft picks to solid entertainment players, top entertainers, and celebrities to college and high school MVP’s and even street ball’s most skilled tricksters.
The event will be narrated by the Venice Beach League’s best announcers Mouthpiece & DB who catch every move, mistake and banter, providing a never before seen perspective for spectators and players alike.
Every summer, the best basketball players, dancers, rappers, bands and DJ’s showcase their talent on the
world famous courts of Venice, interacting with a diverse audience to create the liveliest, unscripted event ever.

all over the web as well as on a local TV network… stay tuned!
For our 7th annual edition, we are expanding to a 2nd court and making it an all day event for the kids. The games will be played in parallel to VBL games next to the fan fest section of the event.Participants will have their own announcer and earn a nickname from one of our legendary MC’s.
Will be inviting 7 of the best AAU basketball teams (12 and under) in Socal to participate in the summer festivities. The 8th team will be composed of the most skilled and hard working kids of the morning Natural Leaders Camp.
