SURROUNDED BY CREATIVITY, DEFINED BY ATHLETICISM:
THE RHYTHM OF OUR GAME IS THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR CULTURE.
UNITED WE RISE
What an amazing basketball festival to say the least is going on in New York right now. When Converse, Nike and Jordan brainstorm to make this happen they had to get really creative and exceed the fans expectations by playing games outdoor with hardwood, radio city music hall…
The basketball never stops in between the Battle of the Burroughs where the young streetball cats will be battling, team practices and official National team games.
“We’re thrilled with the opportunity to bring the energy and excitement of USA Basketball’s Men’s National Team to fans and give them with a way to celebrate their team,” said Jerry Colangelo, USA Basketball Chairman. “We are honored to have the opportunity to represent the United States in the FIBA World Championship and I can’t think of a better sendoff for our team than the World Basketball Festival.”

What a great event AEG put together for the second consecutive year. . The competition in the elite division rose to an other level, with 32 teams battling for the $10,000 package the generous sponsors put together. VBL was stronger than ever with 8 teams represented in the tournament and Top 7 were all VBL teams. It was a great basketball week end overall with something for everybody. We will be back in Venice next Sunday 15th for KVBL and VBL.

VeniceBall showed up strong once again @ the One on One Redbull qualifiers with 7 out of our 12 players to making it to the Top 8. Lil Flip came up big eliminating The Beast aka Terron Williams in the first round. He just kept it draining 3’s on him and saved the day for all of us. Beast at 6.6 260 pounds has to be one of the hardest one on one matchups out there. In the meantime Dragon from The United Nations took it all VS Clutch from The Mean Ones. Flip said it well ” Don’t Believe The Hype” and Dragon a big time under dog prooved it to everyone.
