Tipping off at 12:30pm sharp every Sunday, VBL will be hosting their 3rd Episode of their 7th annual summer league at the infamous Venice Beach basketball courts.
KVBL Natural Leaders camp is returning for its 5th year and welcomes families to participate prior to the afternoon festivities from 9am-12pm with kids 5 and up receiving an all natural experience of a lifetime.
The main court plays host to VBL’s all-star street ball teams and will feature 4 amazing games and a world class dunk contest starring Werm, Sir Isaac, Chris Staples and more. Veniceball is comprised of top pro athletes, entertainers, DJ’s, live art, world renowned announcers, cheerleaders and more. Sunday Funday is taken to a whole new level!
Our main event of the day begins at 3pm and features Beach Warriors, 2012 VBL champions, facing off against the NCAA Boys, a prime selection of the top players in Juco, D1 and Top D2 schools.
Capturing the view from the bottom, 4’5 Streetball phenom Jahmani “Mani Love” Swanson will take it to the top, running alongside slam dunk dominator Michael Blue.
The addition of a second court has VBL expanding with a competitive 12 & under all-star league,“Swag Games” from today’s top artists and a High School division showcase.
Sunday’s halftime lineup includes performances by The House of Vibes with J5 legendary Chali 2na, Ochoa Boys andThe VBL Girls from the Luminosity Group.
Expect to see NBA stars and celebrities from BET in attendance.
